Tickets on Eventbrite

Join us Sunday, August 13th for Dance Medicines first Mid-Summer Day Fest. In line with the Lions Gate 888 portal, this energy encourages us to release heavy burdens and free ourselves into lightness, creating our own Heaven on Earth. This event will be a transformational experience. By gathering as authentically expressive communities, together, we can amplify our connections with music and dance in the depths of love, play, ceremony, and celebration.

Introducing our opening artist and local jam band, Reggae Thunder
Members of legendary Philly bands Spiritual Thunder, MOKA SOUL, RK$TDY and Philly Gumbo, among very many other projects, have joined forces via their shared love of Reggae music to form Reggae Thunder. Their music is danceable, with high-intensity hit songs in ecstatic reggae style.

Followed by featured artist and globally recognized DJ, R U B Y C H A S E
Ruby Chase is a singer, writer, producer, DJ, and social alchemist. With a focus on taking her listeners on a journey, Ruby serves up a unique ritualistic approach to her live performance, weaving a broad span of musical flavors ranging from deep tribal bass to floating angelic highs. Blending worldly dance tracks with her original music, ethereal live vocals, and interactive invitations, Ruby’s sets turn the dance floor into a ceremony.
Ruby Chase utilizes the music as a tool for social impact by teaming up with non profit organizations and unified action initiatives to generate energy around important topics such as homelessness, sustainability, mental health, earth conservation, ancient wisdom, and female empowerment.
